Eventually, Danny got the courage to even move, as he leaped up and flew through the snake enclosure's cage and he flew home as fast as he could.

"Get it together, Fenton. He's in a cage; there's no way he can get out. . ." I hope. . . Danny gulped hard, shaking a bit still.

The sun was getting higher and higher into the sky as Danny peeked over at it with a pout.

"Ughh. . . Stop making it seem like a nice day. . ." He grumbled to no one in particular.

He scrunched his eyes shut for a few seconds before opening them as he took a light sigh. He looked up to see his home and before he knew it, he was standing in his room, turning human.

Just then, Jazz walked into his room. "Hey. . ."

"Hey." Danny said with fake cheerfulness.

Jazz looked a bit sad. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah. . . Why wouldn't I be?" He asked dryly and a bit rhetorical.

"Um. . .What do you plan on doing today?"

"What does it matter?"

Jazz rose an eyebrow, now taking some of this with offense. "Well, are you just gonna sit in your room all day?" She asked, as she saw him sit on his bed with his cheeks cupped by his hands.

"I don't know." He mumbled.

"Danny. . .Go and meet up with Sam and Tucker. You need to get your mind off things."

He sighed dramatically. "Come on, Jazz! You really think I can face them after what he did?! You're crazy." Danny shook his head and fell back on his bed.

Jazz looked at him with a harsh expression. "Fine, wallow in guilt and-and self pity but I know that if you get out of the house and keep yourself busy, you'll eventually move on!" She walked out of his room, slamming the door.

Danny winced and sighed again. "You're wrong. You're wrong. Why can't you admit that? You have not been through anything of what I have been through. . ." Danny grumpily stated in a low voice after she left his room. "She doesn't understand. . ."
